For individuals who are not comfortable entering the building, the Trumbull County Auditor’s Office will still provide 24 hour/7 day a week online options to complete title searches and valuation queries. Also, business through the Auditor’s office can still be completed internally as business documents may be mailed in or dropped off in the Auditor’s lock box located in the vestibule of the Trumbull County Administration Building. Any documents that are e-filed will be dealt with as they arrive. Any documents can be dropped off in the vestibule. Please seal all envelopes and if needed include return postage.

The 2020 CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) and the 2020 PAFR (Popular Annual Financial Report) are now available for viewing. The CAFR report represents full disclosure of all Trumbull County's financial activities during 2020. The PAFR report provides a brief analysis of where the County revenues came from and where those dollars were spent in 2020.

Auditor Biviano Receives the CAFR and PAFR Award for Fiscal Year 2019
Trumbull County Auditor, Adrian Biviano, has once again received an award for the CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) and the PAFR (Popular Annual Financial Report) for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2019. The 'Certficate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting' received by the CAFR is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. Auditor Biviano has received awards for the CAFR and PAFR for 12 consecutive years.

Auditor Releases Draft of Reappraisals
Property owners in Trumbull County can now visit http://property.co.trumbull.oh.us/ to see the tentative values of their homes after being reevaluated in the county's six-year reappraisal.
Integrity Appraisal Service will have a representative in the Auditor's office all week to discuss the valuation. The company viewed each parcel in the county, took photos and used comparable sales in like neighborhoods to determine the values.

Trumbull County Auditor Receives Continuing Education Award
Trumbull County Auditor, Adrian Biviano, is the recipient of the "Distinguished County Auditor" award, presented by the County Auditors' Association of Ohio (CAAO). The award recognizes County Auditors who have completed 100 or more hours of continuing education during their term in office. County Auditors are required to complete at least 24 hours of continuing education during their term in office. Auditor Biviano obtained his training in topics such as Valuing Real Property, Financial Audits, Accounting Standards, and two mandatory classes in ethics and substance abuse.

The homestead exemption is a valuable tax reduction providing Trumbull County homeowners an average savings of $535 per year. With homestead, eligible homeowners receive an exemption on the first $25,000 of appraised value from taxation for a single family home. Eligible Military Veterans receive an additional exemption on the first $50,000 of appraised value from taxation for a single family home.
